The Lexington Eagles finished fourth in their own tourney this past weekend. The Eagles defeated Burton, lost to St. Andrews, and to Bastrop. Mackenzie Brown was chosen All-district by the 27-AA coaches in voting held after the basketball season. The diminutive junior guard led the Lady Eagles in scoring, assists, and bruises during the 2011- 12 season. Christen Schneider was voted to the second team by district coaches.
