It is a joy and privilege to work alongside Dalton Lambert on Wednesday at the Lexington Leader. He is quite a loyal worker; he has now earned a 5 year Perfect Attendance record at the Leader.

Dalton is quite the celebrity as of recent weeks. He was honored a few weeks ago with being voted the Best Community Volunteer by the Lexington Leader’s Lee County Reader’s Choice Awards in this the 13th year of the contest. And most recently, Dalton was selected as Citizen of the Year by the Lexington Chamber of Commerce during the 56th Homecoming celebration a week and a half ago!

Dalton’s skills at the newspaper are quite remarkable. He is the fastest one in the whole process of getting the paper to the Post Office in perfect order and on time. The whole procedure takes several hands on deck and he is the organizer of the process.

So “thumbs up” to Dalton Lambert on his recent awards. He is a fine young man.
