Melody Alecia Moore


 

 

Memorial services for Melody Moore, 55 of Rockport, Texas, were held on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings, with Delbert Baack officiating.

Melody Alecia Moore was born on April 24, 1967 in Fort Worth, Texas, the daughter of Robert and Carolyn (O’Pry) Moore. She attended Conroe High School and graduated from McCullough High School in The Woodlands. Mel continued her studies at Sam Houston State University and University of North Texas majoring in Special Education.

For many years she worked as a property manager. She was baptized at West Conroe Baptist Church. Melody was quite creative and enjoyed painting, cooking, traveling, spending time at the beach, and thrift shopping.

She loved spending time with her children and supporting them in their many endeavors. Melody looked forward to spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed a good laugh and a prank. Her personality was as large as her heart and she made sure to make everyone feel like they were family.

Melody passed away the early morning of Tuesday, May 10, 2022 in Corpus Christi.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Moore, and twin sister, Melony Berryman.

Melody is survived by her children, Hunter Jaehne, 24, of Giddings, Averye Jaehne, 22, of Giddings, Gage Jaehne, 20, of Giddings, and Michelle Guzman, 32, & Thomas Oddie, 31, of England; mother, Carolyn Moore of Conroe; brother-in-law, Jim Berryman of Rosenberg; nephew, Parker Lee Moore of Conroe, and numerous cousins and extended family.

Memorials may be made to any substance abuse non-profit/ charity or to a charity of one’s choice.
