Eleven Sentenced in District Court of Lee County

Eleven people were recently sentenced in the 21st Judicial District Court of Lee County. Four were sentenced on June 25, with the Honorable Carson Campbell presiding. The other seven were sentenced on July 2, with the Honorable Reva Towslee Corbett presiding. This Saturday, July 13, Lee County Commissioner Alan Turner will host a Precinct 3 Clean Up Day at the Lexington Precinct Recylcling Center, located one block west of the Square. The court met in a regular session Monday, July 8, at the Lee County Courthouse. The meeting opened with a prayer, given by Pat Herlitz with the First Assembly of God Church in Giddings.
