FEMA has opened a Disaster Recovery Center in Lee County in order to help those affected by the recent floods and storms. The hours of operation will be 9 to 5 Monday thru Friday and 9 to 2 on Saturday. Survivors of the floods are encouraged to stop by and get information about FEMA benefits. The Lee County District Court has been very busy these past couple of weeks, sentencing 17 people for various crimes committed. On June 28, the Honorable Carson Campbell sentenced 12 and on July 5, the Honorable Reva Towlsee Corbett sentenced another five.
