Taking a break from a very busy morning of hunting Easter eggs were members of Mrs. Lerche’s class. In order from left to right, they are Kynslie Meyer, Amanda Zgabay, Emma Beard, and Courtney Strain.

Many students, from Kindergarten through Senior High, were able to participate in several activities last week celebrating Spring and the Easter Season. Third grade students at Lexington Elementary School participated in classroom events including races to eat a donut off a string without the use of their hands! The students also enjoyed huge strawberries and other confection goodies.
Kindergarten students hunted for Easter Eggs on the front lawn of the School. Several classes created Easter Bunny Ears for the hunt along with Easter Baskets made from milk cartons.
The Seniors at Lexington High School participated in their Annual Hunt on Eagle Field. Without any secret hiding places on the football field, the intent was obviously not about the hunt but about how many eggs one could scoop up at a time. Eggs were filled with gift certificates and cash as well as traditional Easter candy.
