Saturday's Internet Edition, May 17, 2008. Sentences Handed Down in District Court - On April 15, 2005, District Judge Terry Flenniken handed down four sentences. Johnny Richard Nelson,25, of Brenham was sentenced to 10 years TDCJ and a $2500 fine for a charge of Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity-Theft-$100,000 to $200,000. Mark Anthony Alva, 35, of Dime Box was charged with Burglary of a Building, received 9 months 21 days TDJC-SJF, ordered to pay court costs, attorney fees and $220 restitution. Dolores Castaneda Garza, 22, of La Grange received 2 years TDJC probated for 4 years, ordered to pay a fine, court costs and 250 hours community service for Hindering Apprehension. Michael Treon Sanders, 21, was sentenced to 2 years probation, a $1000 fine, court costs and attorney fees plus 250 hours community service for Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle.
