Saturday’s Chocolate Lovers Festival in Lexington was a huge success for the Lexington Community Chamber of Commerce. Hundreds of people turned out on the Square to enjoy a number of things, but the favorite events seemed to focus on the pie-throwing and pie eating contests.
Reverend David Harkreader of Eagles’ Wing Christian Center, along with Lexington’s police officers took their turn as “sweet targets” for flying pies.
