Lexington School Board Continues Superintendent Interviews - Lexington Independent School District is several steps closer to having a new superintendent. The Board of Trustees has narrowed down the 41 potential candidates to only 3. A second round of interviews of the three remaining candidates will begin on Tuesday, November 9. A finalist is expected to be announced on November 22. The formal hiring announcement will be made on December 13.
