Lee County District Court Sentences Three

Lee County District Court convened on Friday, November 12, with Judge Harold Towslee presiding. The following sentences were handed down:
Kenneth Gordan Miller, 43, of Giddings was found guilty of possession of controlled substance-methamphetamine, less than 1 gram. He was sentenced to 5 years in TDJC, probated 10 for ten years, a $2,500 fine, court costs and 250 hours of community service.
Albert Patrick Garrett, 28, of Waco, was sentenced for possession of controlled substance-methamphetamine, less than 1 gram to 18 months in state jail, probated for 3 years. He was fined $1,500 and ordered to pay court costs and attorney’s fees plus restitution and 200 hours of community service.
Byron Daniel Davis, 21, of Giddings was found guilty of burglary of a building and was sentenced to 18 months in state jail, probated for 3 years. He was ordered to pay attorney fees, court costs and a $750 fine. He was also ordered to perform 250 hours of community service.
