County Emergency Management Receives $135,000+

At the November 22, 2004 Commissioners’ Court meeting Constable Buster Dussetschleger, Lee County Emergency Management Coordinator, announced that the Lee County Office of Emergency Management received notice of two sub-recipient awards for 2004 from the State Homeland Security Prevention Program.
The first sub-recipient award in the amount of $1,250 will be used to purchase equipment necessary to connect Lee County to the Joint Regional Information Exchange System.
The second sub-recipient award in the amount of $135,396 will be used to purchase Phase I Communications Interoperability Equipment to achieve minimum interoperability across the CAPCO region. Phase II of the award will be used to purchase Incident Management Vests for Lee County First Responders.
Lee County Judge Evan Gonzales, acting in his capacity as the Director of Lee County Emergency Management, signed the sub-recipient acceptance Monday.
