Area Youth Perform in Russian Nutcracker Snowflakes from the Great Russian Nutcracker. - Area youth had an opportunity to perform with the Moscow Ballet in The Great Russian Nutcracker last Sunday, November 28, at the Bell County Expo in Belton. One of the youth is from Lexington and one is from Dime Box. Morgan Patterson from Lexington played a snowflake and Beth Sanders from Dime Box played a mouse. Apolline Doss of Heartland Ballet in Rockdale coordinated and rehearsed with the group. The youth performing as Snowflakes were: Kyla Pendleton from Rockdale, Alejondra Ruelas from Rockdale, Anabella Ruelas Rockdale, and Claire Codanti Clifton. Standing, they are L-R Cortney Rutter from Thorndale, Kylee Kopriva from Cameron, Paige Madison Laurence from Thorndale, Morgan Patterson from Lexington, Shelby Thompson from Rockdale, Leslye Alonso from Rockdale and Rose Codanti from Clifton. Other area performers from Rockdale included Courney Reynosa, Elisabeth Thomason, Sopia Doss, Samuel Stockton, Vaughn Stockton, Alex Noack, Rose Doss, Kaylee Alonso, Maxie Vann, and Allison Petzel. Allison Holder from Thrall, Karrie Keen from Cameron, Layne Codanti and Paige Codanti from Clifton, Alyssandra Hibarra from Hutto, and Laura Hill and Callie Hill from Elgin also performed. Performers from Taylor included Katie Faught, Lauren Camacho, Kierston Mitchell, Bethany Mattys, Kacey Christiansen, Rikkianne Boatright, Heather Eiben, Elizabeth Ochoa, Morgan Cmerck, Tara Eulendfeld, Sarah Ozuna, and Maison Lawhon.
