Tuesday's Internet Edition, July 08, 2008. Leader Plans Special Holiday Edition - As is the tradition for the Lexington Leader, letters to Santa and Christmas artwork will be featured in a special Holiday Edition in next week’s issue of the newspaper. Hundreds of drawings have been collected from area schools as well as letters to St. Nicholas filled with wishes and promises of good behavior. This is the seventh year the Leader has offered their Holiday Edition dedicated to the spirit of the holidays. A special mailbox is located in front of the newspaper office that has direct delivery to the frozen tundra. Everyone is invited to mail their wish list to the North Pole at the Leader mailbox. In order to have Santa letters or Christmas artwork included in the Holiday Edition (December 23), submission deadline is this Friday, December 17. For more information, call (979) 773-3022.
