Lee County District Court Sentences Three - In District Court in Giddings on December 17, Darrell Wayne Vincent was convicted of DWI-subsequent and was sentenced to 5 years in Texas Department of Justice Center, time probated for 5 years. He was also assessed a $2,500 fine, court costs and court appointed attorney fees. He is to perform 500 hours of community service and has a two-year suspension of his driver’s license. He will be required to complete DWI and Victim Impact Panel classes, plus restitution to Texas Department of Public Safety. In other court action, Mary Cisneros Tello of Giddings was convicted of theft by check, $1,500-$20,000, and received 3 years probation, a fine of $1,000 plus court costs and court appointed attorney fees, $3,762 restitution plus 250 hours of community service and attend Hot Check classes. Ira Franklin Glasco of Houston was sentenced to 3 years probation on a conviction of possession/controlled substance, cocaine, less than 1 gram. He was also assessed a $1,000 fine plus court costs and court appointed attorney fees. In addition, he is to perform 250 hours of community service.
