Streetlights Shot Out
-
Chief Randall Davis of the Lexington Police Department reports he has received calls of concern regarding streetlights being shot out with what is believed to be juveniles using BB guns. Streetlights around Third Street, and the town square were the latest hit. Chief Davis stated that these lights are generally expensive to replace, causing extra monetary challenges for the City, and increasing the danger of persons wanting to enjoy the Square, and walking after hours. Any person having information related to the destruction of property in or near Lexington is invited to contact the police department.
