April 11, 1922 April 27, 2007 Hinton Mack, 85 of Rockdale, died on April 27, 2007 at the Renaissance Villa in Rockdale. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 3 from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 4, 2007 at the Pecan Street Church of Christ with interment in the New Oak Lawn Cemetery. Ministers Neugene Knox and John Mitchell will officiate. Pallbearers are Brandon Mack, Raymond Mack, Jr., J.D. Morrison, Selven Mack, Grant Pierre and Tim Mack. Honorary pallbearers are L.C. Mack, Obbie Mack, Bobbie Mack, Lem Mack, Sr., Aaron Mack, Sr., and the brethren of the Pecan Street Church of Christ, where Mr. Mack was a longtime member. He was born near the Tanglewood Community on April 11, 1922 to Ollie and Versie Mathis Rayford Mack. He married Flora Juanita Fair on July 17, 1954 in Rockdale. His wife, parents, brothers: Namon, Ernest, Ulysee and Reggie Mack and sisters: Olivia Morrison, Myrtle McBride, Mable Jones, Minnie Maloy, and Winnie Marion preceded him in death. He is survived by his sons: Hinton Hamilton Mack and wife Katherine Diane of Temple and Raymond Maurice Mack and wife Pam of Houston; daughter, Janette Mack Pierre of Hutto; brothers: Lem Mack, Sr. of Giddings, L.C. Mack of Kingsville, Aaron Mack, Sr. of Lexington, Obbie Mack of Rockdale and Bobbie Mack of Lubbock; 6 grandchildren: Keir Brady, Grant Pierre, Brandon Mack, Amber Mack, Selven Mack, and Raymond Mack, Sr.; step-grandchildren: Harold, David and Kristen Elder; 10 great grandchildren: Travon Brady, Parys Brady, J.J. Mack, Montrice Mack, Latrice Mack, Katrice Mack, Chelsey Mack, C.C. Mack, Javier Mack, and Xadrian Mack. February 24, 1940 April 29, 2007 Myrna Redding, 67, passed away on April 29, 2007 at her home in Lexington. Formerly of Austin, she had lived in Lexington for the past five years. The graveside service will be conducted by Rev. Linda ONeal of Lexington United Methodist Church in the Lexington Cemetery on Thursday, May 3, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Mrs. Redding was born in Sherman, Texas on February 24, 1940 to Jack Lee Henry and Helen Louise (Spangler) Henry. She was a health care giver with various nursing homes and individuals. She married her first husband, Robert W. Jones in Durant, OK in 1956. In 1979, she married her second husband, Kevin J. Redding in Durant, OK. She is survived by her husband Kevin Redding of Lexington, sons: Toby W. Jones and wife Kimberly of Austin and Jeffrey Jones of Austin; daughters: Cindy L. Burton and husband K.C. of Mount Olive, Texas and Amanda Tschepl and husband, Steve of Lexington; parents, Jack and Helen Henry of Sherman; brother, Billy Jack Henry and wife, Lisa of Taylor and 6 grandchildren: Valerie Jones, Abigail Tschepl, Jonathon Arthur Tschepl, Tim Tschepl, Terry Burton and Katrina Burton. November 4, 1923 April 27, 2007 Mr. Tipton was born on November 4, 1923 in Carlisle, Texas to William Cal and Maggie Mae Neumann Tipton. He was a machinist for Dow Chemical. He and Ruby Wagoner were married on December 6, 1987. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Michael Tipton; 3 brothers, Pat, W.C. and Norris Tipton; 2 sisters: Ruth Meyers and Audrey Faye Smith and grandson-in-law, Gene Hall. He is survived by his wife, Ruby of Giddings; daughter, Shirley and husband Larry Graham of Giddings; grandchildren: Jerry Graham of Giddings, Tim Graham of Austin, Leah Hall of Giddings, Lexie Tipton of Houston, Matthew Tipton of Washington State and Beth Tipton of Houston; great grandchildren: David and Danielle Hall of Giddings and Landan Evans of Austin; brother, James Tipton of Dickinson and numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives. Mr. Tipton was a Pearl Harbor survivor. September 10, 1928 April 27, 2007 Mrs. Warren was born on September 10, 1928 in Manor to John Henry and Beulah Amy (Hanson) Denson. She was married to Sidney Alton Warren who preceded her in death in 1997. Her son, Alton Warren, Jr., parents and brother, Bruce Perry Denson also preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Joseph Dale Warren of Rockdale, daughters: Donna Louise Johnson of Georgetown, Caroline Ann Bohn of Arkansas and Cindy Marie Beard of Hockley; step-son, George Lee Warren of Rockdale and sister, Jo Ellen Foster of Austin. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren. December 5, 1923 April 27, 2007 She was born on December 5, 1923 in Rockdale to Jim Jones and Eula Mae Touchstone. She married John F. Westbrook on April 20, 1940 in Franklin, Texas. She was a retired clerk at Winns Variety Store. Her husband, parents and sister, Opal Ramsey preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Gary Westbrook and wife, Eileen of Sugarland, daughter, Carolyn Varley of Fairfield and grandchildren: Russell Gilbreath, Jeannette Pritchard, Matt Gossaga and Jessica Mynes. She was a member of Murrey Street Church of Christ in Rockdale. |
