December 11, 1984 – September 28, 2007 Royce E. Baxter died a natural death at Seton Hospital in Austin on September 28, 2007. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 10 a.m. at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale. Royce was born in Austin on December 11, 1984 to David E. Baxter and Regina Barber and lived most of his life in Rockdale. Royce attended the Baptist Church. He is survived by his father, David Baxter of Rockdale; his mother, Regina Baxter of Temple; his grandmother, Willie Baxter of Rockdale and a number of other relatives and friends. Royce was preceded in death by his grandfather, David Baxter and his aunt, Barbara Smith. September 23, 2007 Services for Bonnie Faye Lumpkin Hobbs were held on September 30, 2007 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Rockdale. Bonnie Faye died on September 23, 2007 at Britthaven of Onslow Nursing facility in Jacksonville, North Carolina. She married Richard Preston Hobbs, Sr. Bonnie Faye is survived by her sons, Ronald Albert Hobbs and Richard Preston Hobbs, Jr.; her grandchildren, Christine Michelle Tuttle and Richard Preston Hobbs, III; and her great grandchild, Mikayla Richelle Tuttle. Arrangement were made by the Cotton Funeral Home and Crematory, in New Bern, North Carolina. December 29, 1913 - September 23, 2007 Edna died at the age of 93 on September 23, 2007 at St. Mark’s Medical Center in La Grange. She was born to Emil and Lydia (Kasper) Zoch in Winchester on December 29, 1913. Edna married William A. Lehmann on September 12, 1940. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Mertink and husband Travis of Winchester; her son, Charles W. Lehmann and wife Rose of Victoria, Texas; grandaughters, Denise Becker and husband Glenn of Victoria, Sheila Birnbaum of College Station, Jennifer Hatton and husband Tad of Rogers, Arkansas; her grandsons, Matthew Mertink and wife Monica of Giddings, Luke Mertink and wife Michelle of Paige; her great grandchildren, Trenton Becher of Victoria, Cameron Becher of Victoria, Matthew Dale Mertink of Giddings, Kylie Mertink of Paige; her brothers, Herbert Zoch and wife Lorine of Houston, Erwin T. Zoch of Winchester; her sisters, Mildred Kilian of Giddings, Lillian Kocurek of Weimer, Texas; her sister-in-law, Edith Zoch of Gonzales, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Edna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brothers: Eldor Zoch, Helmuth Zoch and Fred Zoch. Memorials may be sent to the Hymnal Fund at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church, Winchester, Texas. July 24, 1935 – September 25, 2007 Clay worked as a physical therapist and a professional knife maker. He is survived by his son, Bibb Gault of San Antonio and his brother, Billy Eugene Gault of Buda. Clay was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Joe P. Gault. |
