Aura Lee Delta Domasch October 25, 1921 – May 2, 2008 Aura Lee Delta Domasch died at the age of 86 on May 2, 2008 at St. Mark’s Medical Center in La Grange. She was born in Waldeck, Texas on October 25, 1921 to her parents Herman Wendler and Emma (Mueller) Wendler. She married Wilhelm B. Domasch on December 13, 1940 in Houston. She lived in Ledbetter, Texas and was a member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda. She is survived by her husband, Wilhelm B. Domasch of Ledbetter; daughters, Helen and Innis Wagner Jr. of Warrenton. Texas, Barbara and Larry Spence of Rosanky, Texas; grandchildren, Denise Wolff of Austin, Carrie Wagner of Flatonia, Texas; great-grandchildren, Tyler Wolff and Chris Baumbach. She is also survived by nieces and nephews: Evelyn and Edward Strangemeyer, Julie and Stuart Strong, Anne and Gene Schwinger, Myra Jane and Larry Nowicki, Michael and Lou Ann Albers. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sisters, Arno Wendler, Hubert Wendler, Minnie Albers, Zita Albers and Juanita Wendler. Services were held Monday, May 5, 2008 at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda. Rev. Dennis Tegtmeier officiated. Burial was in the Giddings City Cemetery. Pall bearers were: Harold Wendler, Michael Albers, Larry Nowicki, Edward Strangemeyer, Tyler Wolff, and Chris Baumbach. Honorary Pall bearer was Wilburn Schumann. Memorials may be sent to Holy Cross Lutheran Church. October 16, 1960 – April 28, 2008 Lisa Denise Matejka of Bryan passed away on April 28, 2008 at St. Joseph Regional Health Center. She was 47. Rev. Dr. Timothy Edwards conducted the funeral service on May 2, 2008 at First United Methodist Church in Giddings. Burial was in the Giddings City Cemetery. Lisa was born on October 16, 1960 in Houston to Johnnie and Patsy (Hurst) Christiansen. She married Willie Matejka on August 6, 2005. She worked in the banking industry. A son, Daniel Matejka, two grandfathers, and one grandmother preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband Willie Matejka of Bryan; son, Andrew Scott Eldridge of College Station; daughters, Meagan Ashley Eldridge of College Station and Amie Christine Hilliard and Melvin of Waco; grandchildren, Jessica Lynn and Amber Anne Trujillo of Waco; mother Patsy Christiansen of Paige; father, Johnnie Christiansen and Sandy of Giddings; grandmother, Hattie Christiansen of Giddings and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends. Kristoffer Lee Wilkinson May 20, 1973 – April 28, 2008 Kristoffer Lee Wilkinson died at the age of 34 on April 28, 2008 at Seton Medical Center in Austin. He was born on May 20, 1973 in Corpus Christi, Texas and lived in Rockdale and College Station. His parents were Tommy T. Wilkinson and Sharon Lee Roberts. He married Sabrina Anderson and worked as a plumber with Robinson Plumbing in College Station. He was preceded in death by his father; daughter, Tinka Morris; grandfather, Clark Roberts. He is survived by his wife, Sabrina Wilkinson of College Station; mother, Sharon Roberts of Rockdale; grandmother, Johnnie Sue Roberts of Rockdale; daughters, Lacy Wilkinson of Lufkin and Heather Donaldson of College Station; grandson, Aiden Prado of College Station; brothers, Jeremiah Byerly and wife Amber of Rockdale; sisters, Robin Good and husband Curtis of Milano, Jonna Wilkinson of Rockdale; uncles, Doug, Kevin and Steven Roberts; and aunt, Anne Duke. Funeral services were held at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale on Friday, May 2, 2008. Burial was in the Oak Lawn Cemetery in Rockdale. Rev. Harvey Wampler of First Assembly of God in Rockdale officiated. Pall bearers were: Keith Caffey, Seth Young, Gene Gilbert, Mike Romcheck, Matt Glover and Kaden Roberts. Honorary pall bearers were: Mike Anderson, Douglas Roberts and James Young. |
