The last week of June, the Texas Tornadoes competed in the USEDA National Competition in Lindale Tx. They arived on Tuesday, with 28 riders and their parents and grandparents, unloaded horses , tack, and equipment. Competing in 10 competitions, we came home with 9 placings ( 2 National Championships, 1 Reserve Championship, 1- 3rd place, 3 -4th places and 2 -5th places.) This was another exceptional year. They welcomed back two old riders and enjoyed four first time riders. Garry Turner quoted, “Horses are like hand-me-down clothes, as one rider advances to a younger colt, the veteran horses go to the newest riders.” We are always looking for well broke horses to give our new riders and we ask new youth in our community to come ride. 26p1.jpg
