Bernice Bertha Frosch

Funeral services for Bernice Frosch, 82, formerly of Lincoln, Texas, were held on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at St. John Lutheran Church in Lincoln with Rev. Dale Bohm officiating.

Bernice Bertha (Weiser) Frosch was born on October 23, 1934 in Lincoln, Texas, the daughter of Louis A. Weiser and Emma (Boes) Weiser. She was baptized on November 4, 1934 at St. John Lutheran Church in Lincoln by Rev. Reinhard Osthoff and confirmed on March 21, 1948 also at St. John Lutheran Church by Rev. H.A. Stroebel. Her confirmation verse was Revelations 3:11, “Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown”. Bernice was united in marriage to Clifton Frosch on October 23, 1955 at St. John Lutheran Church by Rev. Herbert Hartfield. Their union was blessed with three sons, Ronald, Timothy and Russell. Bernice and Clifton lived in Houston for many years where Bernice worked as a beautician. They moved back to Lincoln in 1982 where Bernice operated her own beauty shop. She was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church in Lincoln where she enjoyed attending church services and Bible studies. She and Clifton also volunteered at Rejuvenation in Giddings. She enjoyed cooking and gardening.

Bernice passed away the morning of Thursday, September 14, 2017 in Conroe, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis & Emma Weiser; three sisters, Edna Weiser, Alleen Wagner and Mildred Urban and two brothers, Martin Weiser and Calvin Weiser.

Bernice is survived by her husband of 61 years, Clifton Frosch of Conroe; three sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald & Anne Frosch of Houston, Timothy & Lisa Frosch of Midland and Russell & Kelly Frosch of Conroe; seven grandchildren, Jordan Frosch & his wife, Rachel of Midland, Evan Frosch of Midland, Nathan Frosch & his wife, Pamela of Houston, Blake Frosch of College Station, Jacob Frosch of Conroe, Rachel Beard & her husband, Jeff of Midland and Erica Frosch of Corpus Christi; seven great grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Olivia Weiser of Lincoln, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
