Kervin Earl Reuter

Funeral services for Kervin Reuter, 78, of Giddings, Texas, were held on Friday, June 2, 2017 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Giddings with Rev. Chris Nietubicz officiating.

Kervin Earl Reuter was born on August 28, 1938 in Round Top, Texas, the son of Erwin H. & Edna (Michael) Reuter. He was baptized on November 27, 1938 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Round Top, Texas by Rev. W. Kratik and confirmed on February 14, 1963 at St. John Lutheran Church in Rutersville, Texas. Kervin served in the United States Army. He was a truck driver for Domaschk Lumber Company in Giddings for many years and retired as a truck driver for Lee County Petroleum. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, taking care of his dogs, playing poker and spending time with his family and friends.

Kervin passed away the evening of Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at St. Mark’s Medical Center in La Grange.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Erwin & Edna Reuter; one sister, Lorine Domaschk; two brothers, Lavern “John” Reuter and Wilburn Reuter, and one niece, Melissa Reuter.

Kervin is survived by his sister, Delores Wessels of Columbus; sister-in-law, Gloria Reuter of Stafford; nephews and nieces, Richard Wessels of Columbus, Doug Wessels & his wife, Anne of Columbus, Carol Domaschk Green of Austin, Elwood Domaschk Jr. & his wife, Jeanette of Houston, Steven Reuter & his wife, Debbie of Houston, Terry Reuter & his wife, Karla of Stafford, Sandra Reuter Stockwell of Bay City and John Reuter of Houston, as well as good friends, Dee Dee Sanchez of Georgetown and Christian Sanchez of Burnet.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the charity of one’s choice.
