At the age of 55, Jean took up the game of golf after finding her dad’s clubs during her move to Giddings. She also enjoyed playing bridge with her friends at least once a week at the Circle W Restaurant. She joined First Baptist Church when she moved to Giddings and served on the Stewardship Committee, the Kitchen Committee and the Outreach Program.
