Controlling Feral Hogs – May 4

In recognition of Soil and Water Conservation Week, April 30 – May 5, the Lee County Soil and Water Conservation District #359 is hosting a program. The meeting will be held on May 4 at 6 pm at the Lincoln Community Center. The program and meal is sponsored by local businesses.

The speaker, Dr. James Cathey, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, Wildlife Specialist, will discuss the Aspects of Controlling Feral Hogs. One CEU in Laws and Regulations will be awarded to persons with a Private Applicator’s License.

Registration will begin at 6 pm, with a stew meal prepared by Larry Weiser and Spencer Schneider. RSVP to the Extension office at 979-542-2753, by May 1.

This program is open to anyone wanting to attend. Individuals needing specific assistance in order to participate are asked to contact the Lee County Extension at 979-542- 2753 on or before May 1 to determine how reasonable accommodations can be made.
