Two More Suspicious Cattle Deaths Reported

Southwest Cattle Association Ranger Kenny Murchison, along with Sgt. Ray of the Lee County Sheriff ’s Office, is investigating two more incidents of cows found killed. Both incidents were reported on Friday, April 14. One incident happened on property on CR 318, the same stretch of road on which at least three other incidents have occurred, and the other report came from a property on CR 325 where three dead cows were found in a pile.

No other information is available at this time as the investigation continues.

Sgt. Ray said, “If anyone sees anything suspicious or out of the ordinary, please contact the Sheriff ’s Department at 542-2800 or Ranger Murchison at 512- 705-3226.”
