Rogers got off to an early lead in the top of the second. Three Lexington errors and a hit batter put a three-spot on the scoreboard for Rogers. A two RBI double by Rogers added two more scores in the top of the third.

Heaven Von Rosenberg doubled to open the Lexington third. The next three batters flied out as Von Rosenberg ended the inning still at second.

Rogers added two more to their total in the sixth inning. A walk, a single, a mental error, and a passed ball were the culprits for the two runs.

Lexington got five hits in the game, but could never string two or three together to put runners across home plate.
