Lexington posted 5 runs in the top of the first inning and 13 in the top of the second. In the third inning, Coach Robertson had the girls bunting to avoid running up the score. Lexington only got 5 clean hits in running up the 18-0 score.

The win makes Lexington 9-1 for district play. The win also gives the Lady Eagles a spot in the state playoffs once the regular season ends.
