Eleven Indicted by Lee County Grand Jury

60-year-old man indicted for sexual abuse of a child

Eleven people were indicted by the Lee County Grand Jury on March 24. Felix Patterson, 17 of Beaumont, was indicted for harassment of a public servant. Micah Alexander Phillips, 17 of Beaumont, was indicted for assault of a public servant. Oscar Carl Wederneir, V, 31 of Rockdale, was indicted for failure to comply with registration requirements. Gilbert Leroy Miller, 60 of Giddings, was indicted for sex abuse of a child continuous, victim under 14. Irene Perez Jones, 49 of Denton, was indicted for driving while intoxicated with a child under 15. Dustin Scott Green, 34 of Lexington, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, less than one gram, in a drug free zone. Johnathan Russo, 27 of Lexington, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, methadone, four to 200 grams. Briana Erica Willis, 17 of Giddings, was indicted for theft of a firearm. Danielle Marie Lara, 30 of Giddings, was indicted for unauthorized use of a vehicle. Charles Sabastain Byars, 27 of Katy, Texas, was indicted for theft of a firearm. Mayra S. Salazar, 30 for Giddings, was indicted for [giving] false statement to obtain property or credit - $30,000 to $150,000.
