LHS Robotics Team Quarterfinalists

Lexington High School’s competitive robotics team (LexTechX Robotix) ended their season on Saturday, as quarterfinalists at the CREATE US Open National Tournament in Iowa. This accomplishment marks the completion of LexTechX Robotix’s rookie season, and offers much promise for the future of the program. For now though, LexTechX is making plans to add a second team to their roster for the 2017- 2018 school year, and is excited about tackling next year’s competition challenge (upon its release in August) as a sister-squad rather than a solo act. Additionally, the team wishes to offer special thanks to the Lexington community, as well as the LISD faculty, staff, administrators and school board members; this landmark season would not have been possible without your support! Members of the team are seen above, with their Coach Emily Smith.
