Sheriff Rodney Meyer was enjoying his weekly breakfast at the Lexington Masonic Lodge, served by the ladies of the Order of Eastern Star, when they presented him with a sack full of super-cuddly stuffed puppy dogs. The dogs are part of the Rainbow Girls’ and DeMolay Boys’ service projects, which were purchased by the Lexington Chapter to give to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office so that they may be given to children in traumatic circumstances. Pictured are Gwen McDonald, Mary Stifflemire, Jim McDonald, Nel Vizena, Sheriff Meyer, Adrian Early and Bill Crawford.
