Earl Edward Symmank

Funeral services for Earl Symmank, 86, of Manheim are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Fedor with Rev. Jonathan Meyer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Earl Edward Symmank was born on January 19, 1930 in Lincoln, Texas, the son of Charles and Lena (Walther) Symmank. He was baptized on February 2, 1930 at. St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lincoln, and confirmed on April 9, 1944 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lincoln. Earl was united in marriage to Audrey Hobratschk on October 25, 1953 at Trinity Lutheran Church in La Grange. This union was blessed with three children, Jerry, Daryl, and Janet. Earl was a drywaller for many years.

Mr. Symmank passed away the afternoon of Friday, December 2, 2016 at St. David’s Medical Center in Austin.

He was preceded in death by His parents Charles & Lena Symmank, wife Audrey, son Jerry Symmank, granddaughter Natalee Cones, one brother, Eddie Symmank, and a brother-in-law, James Forester.

He is survived by his two children, Daryl Symmank of Manheim, and Janet Cones and her husband Chris of Lexington; three grandchildren, Christopher Cones of Lexington, Andy Pate of Manheim, and Jessica Alldredge of Giddings; seven great grandchildren; two sisters: Ruby Wachsmann and her husband, Milton, of Lincoln, and Eunice Forester of Manheim: two sisters-in-law, Carolyn Symmank of Manheim, and Genelda Pavlik and her husband, Robert, of La Grange; one brother-in-law, Wallace and his wife Verlene Hobratschk, of Winchester and numerous nieces, nephews and many great friends.
