Mammie Pellicano

Mammie Pellicano, 99 of Caldwell formerly of Lexington passed away Thursday, September 8, 2016 in the Burleson Saint Joseph Manor in Caldwell.

She was born April 1, 1917 in Perryopolis, Pennsylvania to John and Leona Lasky. She and Joseph Pellicano were married and together they owned and operated a restaurant in upper New York state for many years. They sold the restaurant and retired around 1972. She lived most of her life in upper New York state until she moved in 2002 to Lexington, and lived the past two years in Caldwell. She was a hard worker, always helping her husband; she was a peaceful person and enjoyed working with the M & M Group of the Lexington Methodist Church, which she was a member of.

Mammie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother and several sisters.

Surviving are her daughter, Leona P. Marks of Lexington; a son, James Pellicano of New York; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
