Elvin Albert Stall

July 31, 1932 - February 10, 2014

Elvin Albert Stall, age 81, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 10, 2014 after a long battle with Leukemia. He was born on July 31, 1932 to George Stall Jr. and Amanda in Cameron, Texas. He graduated from Lexington, Texas High School in 1949 and went on to attend Blinn Junior College in Brenham. After one semester, he was called to duty to serve his country in the United States Army. He served from 1953 to 1955 and was honorably discharged. After returning home from his service, he moved to Houston, Texas.

Later that year, he met Angie on a visit back home to Lexington, Texas and they were married on July 22, 1956. Together they were blessed with three children and were married 57 years.

Elvin had a long working career and retired from Enron after 37 years of service. He and Angie enjoyed spending time together at their country home in Lexington, Texas every chance they got.

He also enjoyed many years of bowling, which included multiple tournaments.

Elvin loved his family, life and fought for both to the end. He was always a strong, solid man physically and spiritually. He was admired by many who knew him.

Elvin is preceded in death by his parents, George Stall Jr. and Amanda of Cameron Texas; sister, Doris Tucker of Cameron; brother Herbert Stall of Schulenburg, Texas, and brother-in-law Murrell Tucker of Cameron, Texas.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Angie; son Michael Stall & Tahnee, Spring, Texas; daughter Rebecca Stall of Houston, Texas and son Kenneth Stall & Sheila of Houston, Texas; four granddaughters and four great granddaughters.

He is also survived by brother, Wilburn Stall and Barbara of Cuero, Texas; brother Bobbie and Carolyn of East Bernard, Texas; sister-in-law Billie Stall of Schulenburg, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church at 5000 W. Tidwell, Houston, Texas 77018 in his memory.
