Edgar Ernst Henry Schulz

November 8, 1922 - November 24, 2013

Edgar Ernst Henry Schulz was born on November 8, 1922 in Giddings to Alvin & Pauline (Wukasch) Schulz. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and obtained the rank of Yeoman First Class before receiving his Honorable Discharge on February 23, 1946. In 1950 he was called back to service to assist in the Korean Conflict. Edgar was united in marriage to Bernice Foerster on November 28, 1946 and was a retired Oil and Gas Landman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Schulz & Pauline (Wukasch) Schulz; brothers, Walter Schulz and Wilhelm Schulz and a sister, Bessie Schulz.

Edgar is survived by his wife of nearly 67 years, Bernice Schulz; sister, Martha Lorenz; daughters, Linda Baccus and her husband Jim, Debra Fanning and her husband Bob; granddaughters, Reagan Wolfe and her husband Darrell and Kacey Baccus; grandson, Cameron Fanning and great-granddaughters, Ryann Wolfe and Ellie Wolfe.

Graveside services for Edgar Schulz, 91 of Houston, were held on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery in Warda, Texas with Rev. Randy Ledbetter and Rev. Dennis Tegtmeier officiating.
