Private Applicator Training and Testing
Individuals wanting to become a licensed private applicator with the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) will have an opportunity to attend a training on Thursday, September 19, in the Extension office.
The training consists of lecture, video and worksheets. Registration is $60 per person and includes study materials, refreshments and catered lunch. The study materials may be picked up prior to the class.
Pre-Registration is recommended as class size is limited. Register by calling 979- 542-2753.
A private applicator license allows the purchase and application of restricted-use/state limited-use pesticides in the production of an agricultural commodity.
Check-in begins at 7:30 am and the training will start promptly at 8 am. The training lasts approximately 3.5 hours. A TDA representative will administer the exam. TDA license application fee is not included.
Individuals needing specific assistance in order to participate must contact Texas A&M AgriLife Extension in Lee County 979-542- 2753 at least five days prior to the event so that arrangements can be made.
