Tracy Dean Barnett was born on September 22, 1987 in La Grange, Texas, the son of Jim Hines & Kathy Barnett. He was a truck driver who enjoyed dancing, fishing and taming and riding horses. Tracy was the recipient of the first lung transplant in Central Texas in October of 2012.
He passed away the morning of Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas.
Tracy was preceded in death by his grandparents.
He is survived by his mother, Kathy Barnett of Giddings; his father, Jim Hines of Prim,Arkansas; four sisters, Nicole & David Devin of Kingston, Oklahoma, Daysha & Jason Ranson of Hernandez, Mississippi, Heather May of Gainesville, Texas and Brittany Hines of Greers Ferry, Arkansas; brother, Chris Hines of Greers Ferry, Arkansas; aunts and uncles, Sandra & Rick Tucker of Concord, Arkansas, Sherry Hines of Batesville, Arkansas, Andy Hines of Prim, Arkansas, Susan Williams of Madill, Oklahoma, David Barnett of Bryan, Texas, Bubba & Jodie Barnett of Odessa, Texas, Rick & Cleta Enloe of Giddings, Texas and Morgan McClure of Monahans, Texas, as well as numerous cousins and friends.
Memorial services for Tracy Barnett, 25, of Giddings, were 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings with Ron Clark officiating.
