Lee County Clerk’s Office Offers Record Indexes Online

The Lee County Clerk’s office announced last week that it has completed the transition of all of the index records for their office to a public facing web solution. “For the last three years our office has worked diligently to digitally capture all, of the historical index information contained in the Lee County Clerks office. Now that these records are digitally available in our office, Lee County felt compelled to make these indexes available free to the public over the internet”, stated Sharon Blasig, the Lee County Clerk. Persons needing to know if information exists in the records of Lee County Clerk’s office can search the records by going to www.countyinfosearch.com, selecting Lee County Clerk.

Ms. Blasig went on to say, “Customers often come to our office in search of records knowing only limited information. This offering will give them tools to search through millions of entries in the comfort of their own home or office.” Viewing the actual documents and obtaining copies can still be done at the County Clerk’s Office. “We feel that this is a big step in the efficiency of our office and our service to the citizens of Lee County”, said Blasig.
