Fayette County Country Music Club

The Fayette County Country Music Club will host their monthly Opry on Monday, August 19, 2013 at the KC Hall in La Grange. The show starts at 7:30 P.M. and the doors will open at 5:30 P.M.

CHRIS “TOPHER” CERNOSEK is a La Grange native, who plays an irresistible blend of Texas Roadhouse and honky tonk.

GAYLA NIMTZ has been playing the guitar & singing since she was 8 yrs. young, when she made her “debut” at the VFW on Cambell Road in Houston.

DARREL APPELT, from Columbus, has been a country music musician and country radio disc jockey for over 30 years. Through the years he has performed with several bands and has also owned and managed his own groups. His most current band project is a group called The Hit Men, which is a cover band that performs a variety of music at various venues in our area on the weekends. Darrel is the program director and morning show host of 98.3 KULM Radio Station in Columbus. He has been married to wife Melanie for 30 years. Darrel and Melanie have two sons. 22 year old Stephen is a Combat Marine and an Afghanistan War Veteran with a Purple Heart Medal and is based at Camp Pendleton, California, and continues his service to our Country. Their youngest son, 19 year old Kyle, is a Freshman at the United States Air Force Academy and is an outside linebacker for the Air Force Falcons football team.

So be sure to be with us on Monday, August 19 for a great night of country music.
