Lexington Police Report

July 21, 2013

Officer Sandoval was dispatched to Prosperity Bank in reference to an alarm call. Officer Sandoval checked all exterior windows and doors, finding the building all secure.

Officer Sandoval conducted a traffic stop in the 8900 Blk of Hwy 77. Officer Sandoval observed an open container of beer in the vehicle. Trooper Early of the Texas Department of Public Safety arrived to assist Officer Sandoval in performing a field sobriety test on the driver, who passed the sobriety test. The driver was issued a citation for open container in a vehicle.

July 22, 2013

Officer Sandoval was dispatched to the cattle barn in reference to a female who wanted to report that her ex-boyfriend had pointed a gun at her and another female. The ex-boyfriend threatened to shoot and kill her. Officer Sandoval checked the area for the suspect, but he had left the area. Officer Sandoval then took a report of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon (Family Violence). This case is currently under investigation.

Cpt. Wooldridge was dispatched to Peterson’s Grocery Store in reference to an alarm call. Upon arrival, Cpt. Wooldridge checked the perimeter of the building and found employees entering the building to open the store. Dispatch was advised the building was secure.

Cpt. Wooldridge was dispatched to the 1100 Blk of Ave D in reference to a welfare check on a subject. Cpt. Wooldridge located the residence and made contact with the subject who was found to be ok. Cpt. Wooldridge then informed the subject to contact his mother to speak with her due to the concern for him.

Cpt. Wooldridge was dispatched to the 8600 Blk of Hwy 77 in reference to a truck hauling hay and one of the straps came loose and the hay was unsecured. Cpt. Wooldridge located the truck and initiated a stop and informed the driver about his hay being loose on his truck. The driver, while off the roadway, secured the load and continued his travels.

Cpt Wooldridge met with the victims of the Aggravated Assault with a Deadly weapon incident and received statements from both subjects. Cpt. Wooldridge then issued a warrant for the arrest of Nathan Arbuckle. On 7/23/13 Nathan Arbuckle was arrested on the Aggravated Assault with a Deadly weapon warrant in Falls County.

July 24, 2012

Officer Sandoval was dispatched to a medical call in the 300 Blk of Ave-C with a female subject complaining of abdominal pain. Officer Sandoval arrived on seen and secured the scene while EMS treated the female. EMS took control of the patient and Officer Sandoval cleared the area, along with EMS.

Cpt. Wooldridge was dispatched to the Country Time Salon in reference to an alarm call. Upon arrival, Cpt. Wooldridge made contact with a female who advised she couldn’t remember the code to the alarm. The female subject was checked and it was discovered after speaking with the owner, permission was granted for her to have access inside the Salon at that time. Dispatch was notified of the findings and Cpt. Wooldridge cleared the scene.

Cpt. Wooldridge was dispatched to the 300 Blk of Cherry Dr. in reference to a subject riding a four wheeler recklessly up and down the street. Cpt. Wooldridge arrived and spoke with the complainant, obtaining the necessary description of the 4- wheeler and subjects operating them. Cpt. Wooldridge checked the area, but was unable to locate the subject(s) riding the 4-wheeler.

Cpt. Wooldridge was dispatched again back to the 300 Blk of Cherry Dr. in reference to the subject on the 4-wheeler. Cpt. Wooldridge arrived and located the teenager on the 4-wheeler. Cpt. Wooldridge informed him that he could not ride the 4-wheeler on a public roadway. Cpt. Wooldridge then ensured the subject took the 4-wheeler back to the residence, leaving it there.

July 25, 2013

Cpl. Nurse was dispatched to the St. Joseph Medical Clinic in reference to the theft of medication by a possible known suspect. A report was taken and is under investigation.

July 27, 2013

Cpl. Nurse, along with Officer Hefner, was dispatched to the Dollar General Store in reference to a theft call. Upon arrival, Officers met with the store manager who stated a female subject came into the store and stole items and then left. A report was taken and is under investigation.

Cpl. Nurse and Officer Hefner were dispatched to the Subway restaurant in reference to the manager wanting to issue an exemployee a Criminal Trespass Warning from the store. A report was taken and the subject will be notified of the Trespass Warning.
