DOTTIE JACK was introduced to country music as a child growing up in a small Iowa town. Her father, Fred Jack, was involved in music which allowed for the opportunity to meet many musicians and entertainers, many of which remain friends today. By the time Dottie was 12, she was playing bass guitar, her brother was playing drums, and dad played the steel guitar. Her traditional style of classic country sound on her first record, “Texan in a Stetson”, produced by Bobby Flores at Yellow Rose Studio, includes many well-known Texas musicians, such as Bobby Flores, Jake Hooker, Jim Loessberg, and Randy Reinhard. It also includes special guest-steelers Ralph Mooney and Lynn Owsley. Texas legend, Johnny Bush, can be enjoyed on two of the cuts as well. Dottie’s next two albums, “I Can’t See Texas From Here”, and “With Every Heartbeat”, were produced by Jim Loessberg at Legend Radio Studio in Round Rock, Texas. Dottie was a 2007 and 2008 nominee for female vocalist of the year with the Will Rogers Academy of Western Artists, and continues as a Startex recording artist. “Lighter Shade of Blue”, Dottie’s newest project, was released in October 2012.

JOHN MIKULIN was born and grew up in Dime Box Texas. He graduated from Dime Box High School and joined the Navy in which he served 10 honorable years. He now works in Austin as a Supervisor. John married in 2006 to Kelly and now has a daughter Cory. John started singing at an early age in the church choir and performs any time he gets the chance. John is an avid outdoorsman and thanks God each day for his many blessings and freedom.

ALLISON CROWSEN is a great keyboard and accordion player. She has played with many country singers and was the host of the Brenham Opry several years ago. She has been entertaining at Oprys for over 20 years and is the assistant principal at Brenham High School.

Also, we are proud to have our great Opry band comprised of Mark Lehmann on lead guitar, Zane Crockett on bass, Jimmy Rohde on drums, Craig Schmidt on steele, John Dujka on keyboard and Chip Wied on sound, who will entertain you with some good toe tapping music.

So be sure to be with us on Monday, July 15 for a great night of country music.
