Burglars With Familiar Modus Operandi
Three burglars broke into the Walch Store in Lincoln at 1:19 a.m. last Friday, June 28, having a familiar modus operandi. According to the Lee County Sheriff’s office, security cameras documented three black males entering the back of the store after apparently breaking out the security light above the door. They entered the business, staying for just a few minutes, before leaving with some cigarettes, Gatorade and peanuts.
The familiar MO stems from a recent burglary of Hildebrandt’s Meat Market, where security cameras also documented three black males breaking and entering before leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash and checks.
Three men have also been seen via security cameras hitting the Rockdale Country Club, the Thorndale Meat Market and at a Fayette County bank in recent weeks.
In each case, law enforcement officers are still investigating, while communicating with each other to determine whether or not the crimes are connected.
