Family Violence Tops the Docket Cases in District Court
Family violence was the main charge for which three out of six people were sentenced in the 21st Judicial District Court of Lee County on Thursday, June 13, with the Honorable Judge Carson Campbell presiding.
Justin Thomas Lee Roberson, 25 of Lincoln was sentenced to 90 days confinement in the Lee County Law Enforcement Center for assault – family violence. He was ordered to pay $217 in court costs.
Perry O’Neal Robertson, 41 of Giddings, was given two years probation for assault – family violence causing bodily injury – subsequent offense. He was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine, plus $400 for his court appointed attorney and $428 in court costs.
Alonzo Hodge, Jr., 38 of Dime Box, was given two years probation for assault – family violence. He too was ordered to pay $400 for his court appointed attorney, plus $367 in court costs.
Aubrey Lee Carpenter, 24 of Brenham, was sentenced to three years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for forgery of a government instrument – money. He was ordered to pay a total of $1,620 in fines, court costs, fees, and restitution. Judge Campbell also ordered him to perform 200 hours of community service.
Jonathan A. Cavazos, 20 of Killeen, was given three years probation for criminal mischief - $1,500 to $20,000. He was ordered to pay a total of $3,381.50 in fines, fees, court costs and restitution.
Marvick Navarro, 24 of Laredo, was given two years probation for forgery. He was ordered to pay a total of $2,643 in fines, fees, court costs, and restitution.
