Dear Citizens of Lexington:

I would like to say how incredible it has been to serve Lexington ISD as athletic director and head football coach for the past thirteen years! It has truly been a privilege to come to work every day! I am so proud of the student-athletes that through the years have worked extremely hard and built Lexington into a model program that is respected throughout the state. I have been honored to work beside faculty in the past and now, who are so caring, dedicated, and passionate about children.

It has been my constant prayer in Lexington to make an eternal difference in the lives of as many young people as possible; trusting that influence is still a work in progress for each of them! I understand that there have been those through the years who have disagreed with certain philosophies and coaching decisions I have made, yet I hope and pray that those people can believe I honestly cared about every kid and made decisions based on what was best for the total program.

A heartfelt thank you to all of you who have loved, invested, and helped develop the character of my three boys! Lexington was truly a place that our family could call “home”! A sincere thanks to all the people who took time to really get to know my family and me. Many of you have become genuine, loyal friends, and I am truly blessed because of that!

A huge thank you to all the members of First Baptist Church for your love, support, friendship, and prayers! Thank you for helping mold my children and being such a godly influence on my family. We love you all and will miss you so much! May we continue with God’s help and guidance to make a difference in many lives for His Kingdom!

With Sincere Gratitude,
Coach Jason Holcomb
