Lady Eagles Get Honors

Meghann Wrinkle Meghann Wrinkle The Lexington Lady Eagles softball players earned numerous honors after their successful season. Meghann Wrinkle was selected Utility Player of the Year for the district.

Making the first team were: Kristen Boettcher as an infielder, Tayllor Lagrone as an infielder, Courtney Robertson as pitcher, and Melanie Scantlin as catcher.

Getting selected to the second team by district coaches were: Bailey Reynolds as an infielder, and the entire Lexington outfield of Mackenzie Brown, Madison Bexley, and Mariah Thornton.

Alyssa Morales was given Honorable Mention by coaches.

These honors wrap up a successful year for the Lady Eagles, a season that saw them return to the state playoffs, after missing last season.
