Lexington traveled to Rogers Tuesday afternoon, only to be rudely entertained by the Rogers Eagles 13-4. The scenario is basically the same as the other Lexington losses. One bad inning in the game ruins the effort for the others. This one was the fourth inning, when Rogers scored six of their runs.

Rogers scored three runs in the first inning via a home run. Then came the outbreak, in the fourth inning, that put Rogers ahead 9-0.

Lexington got four in the top of the fifth at-bat. Derek Dane doubled with one out. Tyler Krenek followed with a single, as did Walt Green, to load the bases. Kogan Garrett walked, to force in the first Lexington run. Logan Meuth followed with a basesclearing triple, for the final three Lexington runs.

Lexington only had the one outburst in the fifth the entire game.
