Eagle starter, Jakob Moreland, fell behind 3-0 in the second inning without giving up a hit. Three Lexington errors, a walk, a hit batsman, and a sacrifice fly did the job. The fourth run was earned with a single; a stolen base, and an RBI single in the fourth scored another run.

Lexington finally scored in the bottom of the fourth inning, trailing 7-0. Corey Strain led off with an infield single for the Eagles’ first hit. Strain moved to second on Logan Meuth’s single and scored on W.E. Meuth’s double. Logan then scored on Chase Hibbeler’s sacrifice fly to centerfield.

The final Eagle score came on Chase Hibbeler’s double and Derek Dane’s RBI triple in the sixth inning.
