Four Sentences Handed Down in District Court

Three people were sentenced, one on two charges, in the 21st Judicial District Court of Lee County on March 28, 2013, with the Honorable Judge Carson Campbell presiding.

Duniesky Castillo-Leyva, 38 of Austin, was sentenced to eight years probation, and 20 days confinement in the Lee County Law Enforcement Center as a condition of probation, for Fraudulent Use of or Possession of Identifying Information. He was ordered to pay a $6,000 fine, $304 in Court Costs, a $50 Bluebonnet Area Crime Stopper Fee, and a $34 DNA Testing Fee.

Mark Allen McDonald, 54 of Giddings, was sentenced to 273 days confinement in The Lee County Law Enforcement Center for Credit Card or Debit Card Abuse. He was ordered to pay $304 in Court Costs, the $50 Bluebonnet Area Crime Stopper Fee, the $34 DNA Testing Fee and $234.98 in restitution.

Marcus Earl Satterwhite, 23 of Giddings, was sentenced to four years probation for Assault on a Public Servant. He was ordered to pay a $2,000 fine, in addition to the standard $304 for Court Costs, the $50 Bluebonnet Area Crime Stopper Fee, and the $34 DNA Testing Fee. He was also ordered to pay $589.10 in restitution.

Satterwhite also had his probation revoked and was sentenced to 180 days confinement in The Lee County Law Enforcement Center for Credit Card or Debit Card Abuse.
