Five People Sentenced in District Court

Five people were sentenced on March 21, 2013, in the 21st Judicial District Court of Lee County, with the Honorable Judge Carson Campbell presiding.

Jayme Lee Zgraggen, 18 of the Giddings State School, was sentenced to two years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for Assault on a Public Servant, and was ordered to pay $304 in Court Costs, a $50 Bluebonnet Area Crime Stopper Fee, and a $34 DNA Testing Fee.

Zacchaeus Archie, 18 also of the Giddings State School, was sentenced to two years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for Assault on a Public Servant, and was ordered to pay $304 in Court Costs, a $50 Bluebonnet Area Crime Stopper Fee, and a $34 DNA Testing Fee.

Corey Shane Craycraft, 19 of Giddings, was sentenced to five years probation and 150 Community Service Restitution Hours for Enticing a Child. He was ordered to pay a $1500 Fine, $304 in Court Costs, a $400 Court Appointed Attorney Fee, a $50 Bluebonnet Area Crime Stopper Fee, and a $34 DNA Testing Fee.

Jamie Taylor, 37 of Giddings, was sentenced to five years probation for Forgery by Passing and was ordered to pay a $1000 Fine, $304 in Court Costs, a $400 Court Appointed Attorney Fee, a $50 Bluebonnet Area Crime Stopper Fee, a $34 DNA Testing Fee, and $497.46 in Restitution.

Bonita Rena Pennygraph, 20 of Somerville, was sentenced to twelve years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for Forgery by Passing and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity. She was ordered to pay $304 in Court Costs, a $50 Bluebonnet Area Crime Stopper Fee, a $34 DNA Testing Fee, and $694.02 in Restitution.
