David Jacob Richardson


Funeral services for David Richardson, 31 of Serbin, were held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 25, 2013 at the First Assembly of God in Giddings with Pastor Pat Herlitz officiating. Burial followed immediately in the St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Paige, Texas.

David passed away unexpectedly the morning of Thursday, March 21, 2013 at St. Mark's Medical Center in La Grange.

David Jacob Richardson was born on July 23, 1981 in Bastrop, Texas to William & Renee (Knobloch) Richardson. He was a member of the Bastrop High School Class of 2000 and enjoyed playing football. He was united in marriage to Antoinette Elizabeth Boriack on July 20, 2008 at St. John Lutheran Church in Lincoln, Texas by Rev. Charles Kieschnick. David and Antoinette renewed their marriage vows on December 17, 2011 at the First Assembly of God in Giddings with Pastor Pat Herlitz officiating. David had worked for Cargill-Nutrena in Giddings for several years and was currently a self-employed oilfield pumper. He enjoyed watching football, fishing and hunting. He had served as secretary of St. John Lutheran Church in Paige and enjoyed attending the Men's Group at the First Assembly of God. He was a loving husband, father and son who loved being with his family, especially around the holidays. David was always willing to lend a helping hand.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, I.J. & Lucy Richardson and E.H. Knobloch.

David is survived by his wife, Antoinette Richardson of Serbin; his children, Dylan Lambert and Elizabeth Richardson both of Serbin; his parents, William Richardson & his wife, Cynthia of Lexington and Renee Richardson of Paige; grandparents, Juanita Knobloch of Paige and E.J. & Lorrie Keneson of Spring Branch; sisters, Michelle Richardson & her fiancee, Luke Mertink of Paige, Jessica Molberg & her friend, Sophie Velasquez of San Antonio and Megan Huseman & her husband, Lewis of Oklahoma City; brothers, Delbert Richardson of Paige and Jordan Molberg & his fiancee, Cory Carver of College Station; parents-in-law, Cynthia & Leonard Boriack of Lincoln and Gary & Keeley Schautschick of Serbin; sisters-in-law, Yvonne Labay & her husband, Cody of Magnolia, Miranda Brown of Friendswood and Cassandra Bryant of Hutto; brothers-in-law, Chris Boriack & his wife, Gabrieale of Lincoln, John Boriack of Lincoln and Eric Kreger & his wife, Samantha of Santa Fe; grandparents-in-law, Irene Boriack Schneider of Lincoln, Adeline & Elmo Kieschnick of Lincoln and Albert & Evelyn Schautschick of Serbin, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Serving as pallbearers were John Korb, Saul Lara, Joseph Zachary, Jordan Molberg and Jon Richardson.

In lieu of flowers, the family recommends that memorial contributions be made to a fund that has been established at Citizen's National Bank in Giddings for the future education expenses of David's children.
