Lexington Police Report

March 11, 2013

Chief Yarbrough and Cpt. Wooldridge responded to the 800 block of Hale St. on a medical call. Upon arrival, officers found the patient suffering from an uncontrollable nose bleed. Officers assisted the patient until the Lexington EMS arrived to administer treatment. Lexington EMS transported the patient to Rockdale for further treatment.

March 12, 2013

Officer Vivas was dispatched to the 400 block of Cherry Dr. in reference to a disturbance call. Upon arrival, Officer Vivas made contact with the victim, who advised that her juvenile son had assaulted her. Officer Vivas conducted an investigation, which required the juvenile to be arrested and charged with Assault Family Violence. The juvenile was transported to the Juvenile Detention Facility in Rockdale to be processed and booked-in on Assault Family Violence charges.

Officer Sandoval observed a suspicious vehicle parked out in the field in the City Park. Officer Sandoval made contact with two subjects in the vehicle and found that no police action was need; subjects were talking.

March 16, 2013

Officer Nurse was dispatched to the 100 block of Gary St. where a subject stated he was struck with an egg. Officer Nurse conducted an investigation and found that the egg fell out of a bird’s nest.

At approximately 03:42 a.m., Officer Nurse made contact with an unoccupied vehicle at the Lexington Elementary School with the interior lights on. Officer Nurse canvassed the area for the owner of the vehicle, but was unable to locate the owner. Officer Nurse continued patrolling the city and conducted periodic checks on the vehicle, ensuring no problems occurred.

March 17, 2013

Cpt. Wooldridge was dispatched to find a missing female with mental issues. Cpt. Wooldridge checked the area around CR 410 and Hwy 77, and located the subject, turning her over to the Lee County Sheriff’s Department who transported her to a mental health facility.

Cpt. Wooldridge was dispatched to a loose calf on CR 112 about 2 miles west of the city limits. Officer checked the area, but did not locate the calf.

Cpt. Wooldridge was flagged down in reference to a loose horse on Caldwell St. Cpt. Wooldridge located the owner, and the horse was retrieved by the owner and put back into its fence.
