Walch Receives Certification
Tim Walch, who has been working with the City of Lexington for a little more than 18 months, recently earned his Water Waste Water Operator’s license (type C). The state requires cities the size of Lexington to have an operator with a type “C” license.
With his certification, Walch is now the official Water Waste Water Chief Operator for the City of Lexington, a position that has been covered by interim operator Dave Barker from Rockdale.
Walch completed his schooling in 18 months, which normally takes two years to complete. He accelerated his certification date by taking extra classes, even though he was working full time for the city.
Walch is married to Candice. They have three children and live in Lexington.
